This blog was designed on impulse after 1/2 an hour of trying to log onto Optichat to no avail. Dunno why i am such a fan of any particular chatroom coz the majority of the time there are meaningless conversations that bounce around the room like hypo pigs on a trampoline.
However for reasons i can not for the life of me phantom i have allowed the teenagers in my life to lure me into the world of the unknown. Do i like these chatrooms NO BLOODY way, however i find myself tapping into the bloody thing b4 i go to bed, at the moment it is more entertaining than Coronation Street, do i watch it NO BLOODY way, although 1/2 the population watches it, even my nearly 38 year old partner.
So tell me why when the bloody thing wouldn't come on tonight did i suffer something akin to withdrawal? i have the man, i have the friends and i have a life, but the people in this chatroom are an awesome bunch to chat too, i love hearing what life is like around the globe, the way people gel and even quarrel, it is real life, people can be themselves and that is why optichat is special.
I would like people to use this forum to share the good and bad experiences they have had, and if possible to connect or reconnect with old friends. It is not my intention to use this as a subsitute for optichat rather to pay tribute to a well done website.

Aaaah. Optichat. Loved that place back in the early 2000. I was an awkward fella back then to me, that place was a haven. I remember having a huge crush on Raven. From time to time I wish to go back in time and spend more time there.
